Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer or Priyamani (born 4 June 1984), is an award-winning Indian film actress and model who has acted in several Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam language films. She is a Tamil Iyer and her parents are Vasudev and Latha. The actress won prestigious the National Film Award, for Best Actress (2006) for her role in film Paruthiveeran. Priyamani also won Tamil Nadu government award for Best actress for the same movie. She started her film career with her debut film in Kollywood called Kangalal Kaithu Sei alongside actor Vaseegaran. She made her Telugu debut in Pellaina Kothalo with Jagapati Babu.
